Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process by which your prior training and/or professional experience are recognised and granted credit towards your degree.
RPL stands for Recognition of Prior Learning. By receiving qualifications through RPL, you don’t have to study any course you already understand. Instead, the RPL assessment process evaluates your proof of competency. Both paid and unpaid work experience can be used as evidence for an RPL evaluation. RPL can be used to award a formal qualification or credits towards a qualification.
