Operation Course (Truck / Lift)

Our Operation Course for Truck or Lift is designed to improve your awareness and skills in safe truck or lift operation, effectively reducing the likelihood of unsage operation and incidents. Our experienced instructors cover essential topics such as equipment inspection, hazard identification, and safe operating procedures. Upon completion of the course, you will be well-prepared to handle heavy machinery with confidence and competence.

FORKLIFT LICENCE

Licence To Operate A Forklift Truck

This training program provides candidates with the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.  This program has been designed to assess a Standards for Registered Training Organistations. The assessment will consist of a written assessment and a practical demonstration wit a Forklift Truck.

EWP TRAINING

Operate Elevating Work Platform

This course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to operate elevating work platforms which are not classified as requiring a high-risk work (HRW) licence. If you need to operate boom lifts that have a capacity beyond 11m, please see our EWP over 11m course.

The unit RIIHAN301E covers the operation of a range of elevating work platforms under 11m. Our course will provide participants with skills and knowledge to operate elevating work platforms that are transferable to any EWP under 11m. The specific plant used in our training courses are boom lift (BL) and scissor lift (SL).

After successfully completing this nationally-recognized course you will be trained and competent to operate:

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Access, interpret and apply elevating work platforms documetnation and ensure the work activity is compliant
  • Identify and select any required tools and equipment, check for seviceability and rectify or report, verbally or in writing, any faults prior to commencement
  • Coordinate activites with other prior to commencement, of and during , the work activity
  • Recognise and respond to hazardous and emergency sitiuations
  • Carry out work platform inspections and fault finding
  • Check, clean, maintain and store plant, tools and equipment

EWP 11M AND OVER

License To Operate A Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform(Boom Length 11 Meters Or More)

An elevating work platform (EWP) is either a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device, or a combination of these used to support a platform from which personnel, equipment or materials can be elevated to perform work. HTC’s EWP course covers the functions required to operate boom-type elevating work platforms with a boom length of 11 metres or more. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National High Risk Licence.
