WHITE CARD

Work Safely In The Construction Industry

Prepare to work safely in the construction industry course is a mandatory health and safely legal requirement in Australia for all people who are involved in the construction industry and highly regarded in many other work envionments.

Health and safety legislation describes construction work as any work carried out in, comissioning with the construction, alternation, conversion, fitting-out, comissioning, renovation, repair, maintenance, refurbishment, demolition, decommissioning or dismantling of a structure. An employer must make sure that anyone carrying out construction work has completed and carries with them an official valid construction Induction White Card.

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work
  • Identify construction hazards and risk control measures

  • Minimum 14 years of age
  • 100 points of ID(as required by SafeWork NSW)

WORK SAFELY AT HEIGHT

Work Safely At Height

This nationally recognised course covers theoretical and practical aspects of working at height. During the course we will assist you to develop safe work method statements and risk assessments for working at height. All workers who conduct or supervise taks whilst at height will find this course beneficial to workplace safety. This course will enable you to comply with current WHS legislation with successful trainees receiving a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

CONFINED SPACES ENTRY

Enter And Work In Confined Spaces

This is our basic course which gives you the skills to review a risk assessment and enter a confined space in accordance with an issued permit to conduct work. It is designed to teach participants how to:

  • Work safely within confined spaces according to issued permit
  • Operate various confined space equipment
